What is covered
Standard replacement labor includes removing the old unit and setting it aside onsite, then installing a customer-supplied over-the-range microwave with its required mounting kit in a suitable existing opening. Existing outlet and ventilation must be suitable.
What affects the cost
Cabinet alterations, new wiring, duct changes, disposal and unusual access need separate review. Use the installation planner to see approved labor guidance only when the scope is known. Unknown compatibility is a question to resolve, not a reason to assume the standard price applies.

Send a full view of the installation, visible model labels, the opening with a tape measure and safely accessible outlet and ventilation details. Include a picture of the new mounting kit. Do not remove a mounted microwave to take photos.
