Use the included disc to reach the collection point
The 920-004 one-pack specification includes a 48-inch remote sensing disc. That can help place a sensing point away from the main detector where water is expected to collect. It is different from a cable that senses along its full length: choose the placement for the actual path of water.
A CR123A battery and the remote disc are listed with this model. The 920-006 sensing cable is a separate accessory; Moen’s specification allows up to three linked cables. Do not assume a one-pack detector listing includes that cable or that every multi-pack has the same contents.
The detector monitors water, temperature and humidity through the Moen Smart Water system. Remote alerts depend on setup and connectivity, and the detector alone does not close the water supply. Keep a practical response plan and access for maintenance; compare Kidde if direct placement suits the space better than a remote disc.
