- Has anyone found hidden combustibles, coatings or poor ventilation only after hot work began? What check would find it earlier here?
Make it real on the job
Trace where sparks/heat can travel and physically inspect the fire-watch area and extinguisher location.

Before the crew starts, everyone should be able to explain the hazard, point to the control being used today, and name the condition that would make the work stop.
