Plan a countertop or a proper built-in installation
The NN-CV87QS manual calls for ventilation around the oven and gives model-specific placement instructions. Cabinet installation requires the correct optional trim kit and its separate directions. An opening that fits the outer case is not sufficient: check ventilation, the supported trim kit and the electrical requirements as one installation.
The NN-CV87QS includes an air-fry basket, wire rack and enamel tray, alongside the microwave turntable assembly. Each accessory has permitted cooking modes described in the manual. Keep those instructions accessible when switching among microwave, broil, convection and air-fry operation; do not assume an accessory is suitable in every mode.
Decide whether the extra cooking modes earn their space
This model combines a 1.2 cu ft microwave with other countertop cooking functions. It fits a kitchen where that combination is useful and where the required operating space is available. A simpler microwave may be more convenient if reheating is the only job; extra functions are most useful when you will use their accessories and allow for the additional cleaning.
