The bucket stops collecting when full because the unit shuts off. That makes access for emptying part of the placement decision. Continuous drainage can reduce bucket handling when a suitable drain arrangement is available; check the model instructions for the actual hose route rather than assuming this unit pumps water wherever you need it.
Frigidaire lists operation down to 41 F. A cold or difficult-to-access space should therefore be considered alongside the nominal 50-pint class. That class does not tell you how much water your particular room will yield each day. Make room for ongoing filter care and for reaching the bucket or drainage connection.
The app provides humidity settings, fan control and scheduling. Those features can make an established moisture-management routine easier, but they do not find or repair the moisture source. The advanced air filter is an optional separate purchase; decide whether you need it rather than assuming it is in the standard box.
